During the recent 2021 NTTC Annual Conference Lee Shaffer was honored with the NTTC Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of experience, leadership and dedication in the tank trucking industry. Lee is a current KAG Board Member, former Chairman of the Board and former NBA player.  He joined KAG back in 2001 as a result of the acquisition of Kenan Transport Company, where Lee served as President and CEO.  Dennis Nash, current KAG Executive Chairman, presented Lee with his award.

In addition to receiving his award, Lee participated in NTTC’s Tank Truck Legends Carrier Panel alongside other industry veterans who shared their insights on the tank truck industry and the issues it currently faces.
