Circle K Recognizes Kenan Advantage Group Subsidiaries
Canton, OH October 25, 2005 – Kenan Advantage Group (KAG), the nation’s largest bulk transportation and logistics provider to the petroleum industry, was the recent recipient of several awards from Circle K Stores, Inc. at their annual Carrier Conference in Destin, FL.
Beneto Bulk Transport, which operates in California, Nevada, and Arizona, was named Circle K’s ‘Carrier of the Year’ for their outstanding performance in each of the various safety and service scoring categories. Circle K’s Fuel Distribution Manager, Charlie Young, presented the award to Boyd Brown of Beneto.
Kenan Transport, which operates throughout the southeast U.S., was recognized for their ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ hurricane support in the gulf coast area over the past year. Kenan has routinely drawn on the resources of other Kenan Terminals and other Kenan Advantage Group subsidiaries to provide extra drivers and equipment in times of emergency.
