KAG Acquires Dry Bulk Transporter PRM Trucking
NORTH CANTON, OH, November 22, 2024 – The Kenan Advantage Group, Inc., (“KAG”) announced it has acquired PRM Trucking, Inc., (“PRM”). The White Pigeon, Michigan-based company specializes in the transportation, transloading, and storage of lime, sand and other dry bulk products for manufacturing and foundry companies throughout the Midwest.
According to John Rakoczy, Executive Vice President for KAG Specialty Products, “The further expansion of our dry bulk transportation services will be supported with the latest addition of PRM, allowing us to capitalize on our growing Midwest presence. We are also fortunate to benefit from the ongoing leadership of the PRM team, who will continue their successful journey with KAG.”
Accompanying the transition will be a fleet of 39 tractors, 91 trailers, a terminal and maintenance facility along with approximately 3,000 feet of rail for transloading operations. Most importantly, KAG will welcome 33 professional drivers and 12 additional operational staff to complement its specialized team.
