Teed Up For Success: KAG Raises $550,000 for Local Charity
Canton, OH, August 29, 2023 – In a perfect combination of relationship building, charitable giving, and record high temperatures, the 18th Annual Keeping America Going Golf Classic organized by KAG and local charity Pathway Caring for Children turned out to be a resounding success, raising an impressive $550,000 for a noble cause. This event not only showcased the generosity of the participants but also highlighted the power of collaboration in making a positive impact on the community.
KAG presented Pathway with a check for $518,000, but before the night’s end another $32,000 would be donated. When hearing the day’s goal was short of $7000, a golfer stepped up without hesitation to donate the difference. Then another golfer donated an additional $25,000, rounding out the day’s giving to $550,000!
The event’s speaker is always the highlight of the evening when a Pathway recipient shares their story of how Pathway helped them through a troubled season of life. The support from the outing’s participants allows Pathway to continue with their mission to help children and families realize the possibilities of their lives through foster care, adoption, and counseling.
As preparations begin for the 19th Annual Golf Classic, the bar has been set high for what can be achieved when people come together for a common goal – to drive a difference in the lives of others.
